Draycott SW, a great place to fly when it is on. It hardly ever is though, as it is very sensitive to wind direction. Draycott W is now mainly flown by paragliders, but that wasn't always the case. Also included here are photo from a few other sites close to the Mendips.

Rarely flown nowerdays so this pics are a rare glimpse of days gone by.
Photos from the days of the active rifle range and later. Hard to believe that we often couldn't fly until after 16:00.
The best Avon XC site, now lost. I hope those who thought trees were more important than people are roasting nicely down below.
